Greengrip and ClimbStation

Have you heard about ClimbStation? This is what owners say about it:

"Joyride Games Oy (Ltd) is a Finnish company that developed and patented this unique computer-controlled climbing wall under the ClimbStation™ trade name.

Perfect for beginners, climbing enthusiasts, professional competitors and as a daily routine to keep in good physical condition. ClimbStation provides real climbing with functions that amazes you! Convenient and fun. Just select the climbing level and start climbing. Computer-controlled climbing wall that can be flexibly positioned and moved.

The simulator brings the hobby of genuine climbing closer to consumers in a way that is both safer and more economical than conventional solutions, because workouts with the equipment do not require a specific supervisor, booking or high-ceiling space. The simulator is capable of offering every user a suitable level of difficulty, and also enables aerobic climbing. Workouts efficiently improve physical fitness and strengthen the deep stomach and back muscles, which are normally difficult to train, while increasing endurance and muscle strength just as “genuine” climbing does."

Greengrip has established nice cooperation with Joyride Games Oy, so from now on, ClimbStations will be also equiped with our holds. Local tool is matching local holds -both, tool and holds, are invented in Finland.

First set of holds will, probably, be available for ClimbStation tool in Helsinki, by the beginning of December. More information soon.

Recycling

After a few years of work, we have obtained one of our main goals - from now on, Greengrip climbing holds are 100% recyclable.

We are processing old holds into new holds, reducing the consumption of new materials, energy, pollution and greenhouse gas emissions - we try to be as green as possible.

With fact in mind, that this industry field with heavy pollution of polystyrene, and non-recycling of polyurethane climbing holds, this is also nice step forward for all manufacturing climbing holds industry in general.

Transparent from real rock - soft granite

We made a few holds based on our new transparent material. Material is modified in a way to obtain our safety material properties. Granite rock was used, sharp edges were polished out.

"Soft granite" is ready to be used:

Casted from local granite rock.

No sharp edges, finger friendly, "soft granite".

Transparent, smooth backside.

http://greengrip.valmiskauppa.fi/diamonds-are-for-climbing-vat-cargo-and-handling-included-p-806.html

We have mixed three material types - super lightweight iceberg with

transparent and epoxy rubber:

Epoxy rubber is on the top and back, iceberg and transparent

are in between (different material types give slightly different textures).

http://greengrip.valmiskauppa.fi/blue-rock-vat-and-cargo-included-p-794.html
